Final Fantasy Adventure Remake Heads West for iOS/Android

Remake of 1991 action RPG to launch as Adventures of Mana

Square Enix launched an English version of its official website for its remake of the Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu -Final Fantasy Gaiden-) game on Friday. The company will release the game for iOS and Android devices in the West under the title Adventures of Mana. The website currently lists no planned release date for English version of the game.
The English website's tagline reads, "Relieve the excitement of Final Fantasy Adventure—a timeless classic remastered for a new generation." The remake will feature the story and main characters from the original game such as Hero, Heroine, Shadow Night, Bogard, and Chocobo.
The action role-playing game is slated for release for the PlayStation Vita, in addition to iOS and Android devices, in Japan this winter. Square Enix began streaming a Japanese trailer for the game in September:
Game developer Square (now Square Enix) released the original Final Fantasy Adventure for Game Boy in 1991. As the video above notes, the game was the first in the Mana series.
Square Enix had announced last June that "production on a [new] Seiken Densetsu -Final Fantasy Gaiden- has been green-lit. Sony's website for Tokyo Game Show 2015 then listed Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu -Final Fantasy Gaiden-) for PS Vita.
