Nozomu Sasaki, Nobunaga Shimazaki, AAA Join World Trigger Anime

Toshio Furukawa, Yurie Kobori, more voice Aftokrator characters; AAA makes new opening song

This year's 15th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jumpmagazine is announcing the voice cast for the Aftokrator characters in the World Trigger anime on Monday. The castmembers are, from right to left:

• Nozomu Sasaki as Hainrein
• Yurie Kobori as Moira
• Junichi Yanagita as Lamvanein
• Toshio Furukawa as Enedra
• Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hus
• Hiroshi Naka as Visa

The new arc of the anime will begin on March 29. The magazine is also announcing that the group AAA is performing the new opening theme song. The song will begin airing in the anime in April.

Daisuke Ashihara's original World Trigger manga debuted in 2013's 11th issue of Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.Viz Media added the series to its digital anthology version ofWeekly Shonen Jump, and it will publish the fifth print volume on April 7.

Weekly Shonen Jump's newest series is out of this world! A gate to another dimension has burst open, and from itemerge gigantic invincible creatures that threaten all of humanity. Earth's only defense is a mysterious group of warriors who have co-opted the alien technology in order to fight back!

The World Trigger television anime from Toei Animationpremiered on October 5 at 6:30 a.m. on the TV Asahi station and its affiliates. The manga is also inspiring the fighting gameWorld Trigger: Borderless Mission for the PlayStation Vita this year.
