The organizers of California's Anime Expo conventionannounced on Saturday that they will host a special event with the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works television anime'scast and staff on Saturday, July 4 at 1:00 p.m. The guests at the event, Q&A panels, and autograph sessions will include:
- Ayako Kawasumi (voice actress of Saber, Nodame Cantabile's Megumi Noda)
- Takahiro Miura (director of UBW and The Garden of Sinners Chapter 6: Fairy Tale, ufotable)
- Tomonori Sudou (character designer and animation director of UBW and Fate/Zero, ufotable)
- Hikaru Kondo (president & producer, ufotable)
- Atsuhiro Iwakami (producer, Aniplex)
- Aimer (singer of "Brave Shine" opening theme)
- Mashiro Ayano (singer of "ideal white" opening theme)
The ticketed event will premiere the English dub of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. It will also feature a talk session and live drawing with the staff and Kawasumi. Aimer and Ayano will perform at the event, and attendees will receive an exclusiveFate/stay night present.
Tickets for premier attendees will go on sale on Saturday at 9:00 p.m. EDT, and tickets for general attendees will follow on Monday at 9:00 p.m. EDT.
The ongoing Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works television anime follows the original game's 'Unlimited Blade Works' route. Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the first season in English-speaking territories as it aired in Japan, and Viewster, the Aniplex Channel, Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Huluare all streaming the second season as it airs. Aniplex released the first English-subtitled Blu-ray box set simultaneously in Japan and North America on March 25.
This year's Anime Expo will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 2 to July 5.
