TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND performs ending, composes series' music
The official website for the television anime adaptation of author Shiori Ōta and illustrator Tetsuo's mystery light novel series A Corpse is Buried Under Sakurako's Feet. (Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru) revealed on Friday that female singer True (pictured at top in image at right) will perform the show's opening theme song, and TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND (pictured at bottom) will perform the ending theme song. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is also composing the music for the series.
True previously performed theme songs for Sound! Euphonium, Maria the Virgin Witch, Buddy Complex, andSuisei no Gargantia: Meguru Kōro, Haruka. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND previously handled the music for theWitch Craft Works and Trinity Seven television anime series, as well as the Witch Craft Works OAV. The group also arranged, composed, and wrote the lyrics for the Akikan! ending theme song.
Additionally, the website revealed character line art for Sakurako on Friday.
Makoto Katō (episode director for Aldnoah.Zero, Btooom!, Servant × Service) is directing the series at studio TROYCA (both seasons of Aldnoah.Zero). Makoto Bessho (episode director forAttack on Titan, Death Note) is serving as assistant director, Takayo Ikami (Yuri Kuma Arashi,Penguindrum) is handling the series composition, and Michio Satô (Viper's Creed, Tenchi Muyo GXP) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director.
The series will premiere in October.
The novel series revolves around Shōtarō Tatewaki and Sakurako Kujyō. Shōtarō is a normal high school student with a serious demeanor. Sakurako is an extraordinarily beautiful woman in her mid-20s from a rich family who loves "beautiful bones." The two live in the city of Asahikawa in Hokkaido, and they get involved in various incidents regarding bones.
Ōta and Tetsuo debuted the series in 2013, and Kadokawa published the seventh novel in February. The series currently has more than 600,000 copies in print.
