Shorts debut on YouTube with 3 episodes of 3 minutes each
The official Twitter account for Fuji Games and Mobile Factory's Station Memories app revealed on Thursday that the app is getting short anime adaptation. The anime will premiere on December 26 on the app's official YouTube channel. The anime will have three episodes, each three minutes long.
The game centers around players traveling to different train stations in Japan and collecting the anthropomorphized representations of different stations and railway lines. The anime is set in Yokote City in Akita Prefecture, and will center around the characters Miroku, Mero, and Runa.
The cast includes:
- Maika Sasaki as Miroku
- Iori Noguchi as Mero
- Nagisa Saitō as Runa
- Reiji Kawashima as Master
- Emiri Ōtani as Aimi
- Hitomi Takamatsu as Shizuka
- Risa Otoshima, Hana Ōba, Shōko Takiwaki, Nonno Satake, Kiara Saitō, Sana Morohashi, and Anna Yamamoto as female students
Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Gundam 00) is the chief director of the anime, while Tatsuma Minamikawa (Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry) is directing at Asahi Production, with scripts by Hirotaka Tanabe. Minamikawa is also credited as storyboarder and line director. Kazuyuki Ueda (Hinako Note, Haitai Nanafa) is the main character designer, while Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, This Art Club Has a Problem!) is the sub character designer, and is also credited as the chief animation director. Hideyuki Shima is composing the music.
The game debuted for iOS and Android in 2014.
