Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story is set for release in Japanese cinemas this July, but thanks to the latest trailer fans can get an early look at the brand new legendary Pokémon Zalora!
An Electric-type Pokémon, Zeraora is making its franchise debut in the movie and will also appear in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.
Following I Choose You, the previous movie, Everyone’s Story follows Ash (known as Satoshi in the Japanese version) to Fura City, where a Wind Festival is held once a year in honor of the town’s legendary Pokémon Lugia.
The casting for additional characters has also been confirmed alongside the latest trailer release.
Largo, a mysterious girl living in the forest, will be played by Ashida Mana.
Novice Pokémon trainer Lisa will be played by Kawaei Rina.
Torito, a research scientist with low self esteem, will be played by Hamada Gaku.
Kagachi, a boastful man who tells nothing but lies, will be played by Ohkura Koji.
Hisui, a mad old woman who hates Pokémon, will be played by Nozawa Masako.
Risa’s younger brother Riku will be played by Nakagawa Shoko.
Mayor Oliver of Fuura City, father of Largo, will be played by Yamadera Kouichi.
Matsumoto Rica will return as Ash (Satoshi) with Otani Ikue as Pikachu.
A 30-second teaser video was also released alongside the trailer.
Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story opens at cinemas across Japan on Jul. 13.
