Final Fantasy Type-0 Director Wants to Make Sequels

Final Fantasy Type-0 director Hajime Tabata told gaming website Siliconera that he would
like to continue the Final Fantasy Type series, and he noted that Square Enix already trademarked sequel titles.
"I would like to make more Type games and make them into aFinal Fantasy series. We've registered trademarks for it, we've gone that far so we want to continue it," Tabata said. "I'd like to make the Type series the kind of series where we can do the kind of stuff that we really can't do in the mainline numbered series, so make it a really alternative kind of Final Fantasy."
Square Enix trademarked "Type-1," "Type-2," and "Type 3" in Japan in 2011. The Final Fantasy Type-0 HD PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game will arrive in North America on March 17, in Japan on March 19, and in Europe on March 20. The game will cost 6,800 yen (US$63) and will bundle theFinal Fantasy XV demo in Japan, while the North American release will include a voucher for the demo.
Tabata also confirmed that the HD version will include the original game's "ZERO" theme song byBUMP OF CHICKEN in the English and Japanese releases. The English release will include subtitles of the song's lyrics.
