Following the second one with its theme song "Mirai no Theme," the official website for Mamoru Hosoda's upcoming new original anime feature Mirai no Mirai (Mirai of The Future)/MIRAI has started streaming a 90-second third trailer introducing its ED theme song "Uta no Kisha" (The Song Train) also by 65-year-old singer-songwriter Tatsuro Yamashita. You can also check the voice of a mysterious young man played by 49-year-old actor Masaharu Fukuyama (John Woo's 2017 action flick Manhunt).
The 100-minute film's world premiere screening was already held in the Directors’ Fortnight section of The 71st Cannes Film Festival on May 16. It is set to be released in Japan on July 20, distributed by Toho.
