Up to 8 players can play in co-op or team battle in Bandai Namco Ent.'s 2015 title
The official website of Bandai Namco Entertainment's upcoming World Trigger: Borderless MissionPS Vita game began streaming the game's first promotional video on Wednesday. The video previews the game in action, and reveals the game's multiplayer modes.
The setting of the game will be Mikado City, centering on the headquarters of Border. Players can form teams with friends and choose between "countless" strategies based on the team composition and usable triggers for "unlimited" possibilities. Attackers, Shooters, Gunners, and Snipers are available for teams. Up to eight players can team up via the PS Vita's ad-hoc mode to play the game cooperatively, or to fight each other in teams.
World Trigger debuted in 2013's 11th issue of Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Viz Mediaadded the series to its digital anthology version of Weekly Shonen Jump, and it published the fifth print volume on April 7. Shueisha published the 10th compiled volume in Japan on March 4.
Viz Media describes the series as follows:
A gate to another dimension has burst open, and from it emerge gigantic invincible creatures that threaten all of humanity. Earth's only defense is a mysterious group of warriors who have co-opted the alien technology in order to fight back!
The World Trigger television anime from Toei Animation premiered last year on October 5 at 6:30 a.m. on the TV Asahi station and its affiliates.
